Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health PT experience and a valid CA PT license. Requirements CA PT license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience as a Home Health Physical Therapist required Valid driver's license and auto insurance required BLS certification preferred Experience with home exercise programs, patient and family education, and safety/injury prevention Familiarity with OASIS documentation and home health charting preferred Skilled in assessment, gait training, wound/skin integrity checks, and use of adaptive and assistive devices Experience treating orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary conditions preferred Responsibilities Home health setting with outpatient clinic exposure Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Open to 10-hour shifts or 4-day work weeks with flexible scheduling Caseload of approximately 4-5 patients per day (5 weighted visits) Patient population includes geriatrics, orthopedics, and neurology cases Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, home exercise program instruction, and documentation of care Treats a variety of conditions including post-op orthopedic cases, stroke recovery, and chronic pain management Works independently in patients' homes while coordinating care with the broader care team Accepts local candidates at the local rate Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, with only 1 holiday approved for time off per contract First-time travelers may be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-769662 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
