Medication Tech for Assisted Living Community

Job Description

We are seeking a Medication Technician to join our team! Competitive pay. The successful candidate will dispense medications to residents at our Assisted Living community and oversee the care and medication needs of our Memory Care Wing. Immediate hire for the right person.

Previous Medication Technician experience required.

Criteria of Candidates:

Must be reliable and show up to work each scheduled shift.
Must have stability in your life with reliable transportation and can check personal issues at the door before coming to work with a positive attitude
Must care about the elderly and get enjoyment by providing quality care
Must be a team player and work well with others
Must try your best to be the best you can on a daily basis.
Looking for candidates who intend to be a part of our team for years, not months.

Responsibilities:

Communicating with resident care director on resident changes, medication updates, etc
Following all medication guidelines that were given in medication training.
Pull, pour, assist residents with medications
Documentation
Assist with med-room tasks
Assist and manage resident emergencies

Qualifications:

Previous Medication Technician experience required.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and multitask
