This position involves rotating shifts within a Level Three Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment for a 13-week assignment. Job Details: Shift: 12-hour rotating days and nights (6:45 AM 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM 7:15 AM) based on unit needs Schedule: Scheduling requires working up to 75% of scheduled shifts, including up to one winter holiday (Christmas 2026 or New Year 2027) Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours Start Date: 12/15/2026 End Date: 03/20/2027 Required Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required; ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) accepted with 6 years of relevant experience Active Colorado RN License or Multi-State Compact License Certifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Heartcode, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Heartcode, BLS (Basic Life Support) Minimum of 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated Pediatric CICU (Cardiac Intensive Care Unit) or Pediatric Open Heart setting Previous travel experience required Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) strongly preferred VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience preferred (please note VAD experience in work history comments) Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred Additional Information: Schedule includes weekend shifts; on-call not required Float policy allows for floating within Childrens Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed, and within 35 miles of the original assignment location No RTO (Reason To Leave) will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment Seasonal influenza vaccination required; exemptions for medical or religious reasons are accepted Benefits The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1303942.
