CNC Turret Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)
- Set up, configure, and operate automated CNC punch press machines used in the production of commercial steel doors.
- Shear and punch 14-gauge and 16-gauge steel according to production specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Inspect finished parts to verify they meet dimensional and quality standards using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment operating efficiently.
CNC Turret Operator Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines is required.
- Experience operating CNC punch press equipment in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and maintain machine performance.
