Momentum Senior Business Analyst Category: Business Analysis (functional and technical) Main location: United States, Virginia, Fairfax Position ID: J0726-1071 Employment Type: Full Time CGI Federal seeks an experienced Momentum Senior Support Business Analyst to join a dynamic program supporting a federal agency wide financial system. In this role, you'll perform day to day financial management tasks in Momentum, providing escalation level support, improving processes, and acting as a bridge between clients and technical teams. This position offers growth in client engagement, technical knowledge, and innovation within a mature and collaborative environment. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities Resolve support tickets (payments, budget discrepancies, interfaces, journal entries) in Momentum Analyze business processes, document requirements, and develop/configure solutions Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot escalated issues Support month end, quarter end, and year end close activities Assist with internal control and audit readiness tasks Coordinate and test system updates, patches, or upgrades Communicate regularly with clients via help desk, user group forums, and stakeholder meetings Provide functional testing support: build test scenarios, validate Momentum configurations and reports Mentor business analysts and contribute to best practices sharing Required qualifications to be successful in this role 5-8 years of hands on experience with Momentum (Accounts Payable, Budget Execution, Vendors, General Ledger, or Reporting modules) Background in federal financial systems Strong analytical/problem solving skills Strategic/critical thinking #J-18808-Ljbffr CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc.
