Schedule:

• Every other weekend requirement
• Day or Night shift available
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio: 1:3 to 1:4

Highlights:

• Specialized 22-bed Burn and Reconstructive Care Unit (BRCU)
• Care for burn patients as well as off-service PCU patients including stroke and cardiac cases
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated support staff on each shift
• Typical procedures include specialized dressing changes and wound care
• May float to PCU, Telemetry, or Medical-Surgical units as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (required)
• Experience with burn care, reconstructive care, or progressive care preferred
• Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills
• Navy blue scrubs (facility standard)
