Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Hospital in Boston MA.

Wednesday and Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting pay is $21.23 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate Must be 21+ Years Old and Must Have 2+ Years of Previous Security/Healthcare Experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge checks, and/or directional support in accordance with location protocols and privacy-focused practices.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel during medical-related events, evacuations, and/or other urgent situations by following post orders and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
