Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Glendale, AZ at a hospital setting. You will function as a member of the cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during procedures. You will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, manage instruments and supplies, and provide perioperative support to ensure patient safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program (NBSTSA or equivalent).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One to four years of experience as a surgical technologist, with ability to scrub proficiently in a minimum of two surgical specialties. (Client requires certification as a surgical technologist and either 1-2 years OR 3-4 years of surgical technologist experience; meet one of these experience pathways.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures, including experience with cardiopulmonary bypass, cardiac assist devices, and vascular access/interventions preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional composure in emergent situations.
• Manual dexterity and adequate visual and auditory acuity, including color vision, to handle instruments and respond to surgical needs.
• Where applicable, registration with state regulatory agency as required.
• Preferred: additional related education and/or experience in cardiac surgical technology.
