Shift Details: Shift 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Shifts Per Week 5, Scheduled Hours 40. Job Order Details: Start Date 08/17/2026, End Date 11/16/2026, Duration 13 Weeks. Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00).

Description: Please ensure traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for a role at Ochsner Health if you are not comfortable with the above.

On call required with 30 min response time. Call required. Scrub experience required. Travel experience required. Neuro IR experience a plus but not required. Accepting 1 year experience BUT candidate must have neuro and scrub experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience otherwise.

Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Accurate Monitoring, Adrenal Angiography, Angioplasty, Carotid Angiography, Carotid Stenting*, Catheter/drain exchange, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Central Venous Lines- Care and Maintenance, Chemoembolization, Chest Tube Placement, Cholecystostomy, Computed tomography*, Discogram*, Embolization, Equipment set up, Fluoroscopy, Gastrostomy, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, GE Innova IGS, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Inferior vena cavagram*, Internal/external biliary drainage, Interventional Radiology, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Lead tech experience*, Liver Biopsy, Maintains equipment, Maintains inventory, Mesenteric Angiogram, Nephrostomy, PACS, Paracentesis, Pelvic angiography, Percutaneous Hepatic Angiography, Percutaneous Stone Extraction, Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, PICC Lines- Care and Maintenance, Prep access site, Pulmonary arteriography, Radio embolization, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of the liver, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias*, Renal Angiography, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Selective visceral angiography, Siemens, Special Procedures, Stent placement, Stocks supplies, Superior vena cavogram, Thoracentesis, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), Ultrasound, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Ureteral Stent Placement, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams*, Uterine Arterial Embolization*, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)*, Vertebroplasty.

Unit Details: Staffing & Scheduling Scheduling Type: Other. Weekend Coverage: Works 3 12s either F/S/Sun or S/Sun/Mon; Primary call on one weekend night then flip to secondary the next night (or vice versa). Special Equipment: Fluoro equipment (Siemens single and biplanes and one GE biplane), US equipment, GE procedural CT scanner, Cryo machine, RF machine, MWA machine, etc.

Travel Compliance: Facility does not accept local travelers. Must be over 65 miles (address on drivers license to site address). Must have 2 years experience in specialty for all locations. (New Orleans operating room req. 3 years) **NO CALL IN!** RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer's will be rescinded. Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal. Allied Candidates booked with pending license - Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing. Orientation held 5 days a week. References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. Recruiter, please obtain Manager/Supervisor contact information prior to submission. Charge RNs are NOT acceptable. PDF format AHA certifications are required. AWHONN Intermediate is required for L&D RN. CPI required for all CNA. ER nurses must have CPI, or be able to get it before start. This cert is somewhat difficult to get, so please be prepared for this. NURSYS Reports for RNs must be sent with profile. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.
