Technology Operations Specialist, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

As campuses launch in regular intervals, operational readiness hinges on consistent execution: provisioned and enrolled devices; active and assigned SaaS licenses; configured and tested communication tools. This position places you in charge of device procurement spanning Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; MDM (mobile device management) administration and provisioning workflows; SaaS account and renewal management across 14+ platforms; and execution of the campus technology onboarding playbook (including Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will record what succeeds, refine the SOPs, and leverage AI tools to automate recurring tasks. What You Will Be Doing Manage complete device procurement cycles across Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and shipment status to ensure campuses receive equipment ahead of launch dates Provision, image, enroll, and manage the lifecycle of student and staff devices via an MDM platform, maintaining precise asset records across all campus locations Oversee SaaS accounts, user permissions, and license allocation across 14+ platforms, anticipating utilization thresholds and renewal deadlines to avoid service interruptions Implement the new-campus technology onboarding playbook, preparing devices, provisioning systems, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms prior to opening day Develop and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus onboarding and automating repetitive processes using AI tools What You Won’t Be Doing Operating primarily as a queue-driven helpdesk technician whose performance is judged by ticket counts Engaging in long-term IT architecture planning or strategic discussions while launch timelines are at risk Managing unstructured purchasing without inventory transparency, vendor management, or specification documentation Relying on others to document workflows (you will establish repeatable launch processes, not rely on institutional memory) Technology Operations Specialist Key Responsibilities This role ensures that every campus launches and functions on schedule because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology systems are completely provisioned and operational before the first day. Basic Requirements Currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses Experience administering an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent Hands-on experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting Experience administering SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management Experience coordinating hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or running asset tracking workflows Evidence of creating or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows Nice-to-have Requirements Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site environment where inventory, spares, and repairs must be managed across locations Strong track record of building simple automations that reduce manual provisioning and reporting work Experience configuring or administering communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
