Job Description and Duties

In a learning capacity, assist and support the Accessible Technology Program by reviewing and processing accessibility-related procurement requests, checking VPATs for completeness, and entering information into Azure DevOps. Perform light analysis of software and hardware for Section 508 and WCAG compliance, research OEM product information, obtain VPATs from vendors, and help prepare accessibility variance reports.

Support basic document remediation in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro, contribute to accessibility reports, and participate in special projects that reduce accessibility risk. Maintain and grow knowledge of Section 508, WCAG, and accessibility best practices, including attending relevant training as needed.

Assist with reviewing and processing software catalog requests, ensuring they are complete and non_duplicative, and help with researching software for optimization and compliance. Build understanding of FTB's Enterprise Architecture (EA) structure, the Software Development Lifecycle, EA Compliance, and IT standards, and attend meetings or training to deepen familiarity.

Attend team meetings across disciplines to address accessibility issues and perform other related duties as assigned by the EA Section Manager.

Working Conditions

• This position requires 4 or more days in the office per week. It is designated office-centered and may be eligible for some remote work based on departmental guidelines and operational need.
