Hybrid Programs & Events Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Johnson Investment Institute’s programs and operations. This role helps coordinate institute events, communications/marketing, and administrative processes that enable student success and strengthen industry partnerships. This position is 50%–100% FTE, with final FTE to be determined. It is a two-year position with potential for extension. Hybrid work schedule is available after 90 days of training; residence must be within the tri‑state area near UC Main Campus. Essential Functions Provide financial and administrative support for Institute activities (budget tracking, reconciliations, invoices, purchasing). Plan, coordinate, and execute Institute events and programs (symposiums, speaker series, competitions, industry events, advisory board activities, training sessions); manage space reservations, catering, speaker logistics, venue setup, and A/V support. Initiate and process contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation for events and activities. Develop and implement marketing strategies (email campaigns, event promotions, web content updates, social media management, promotional materials). Serve as primary liaison for students, faculty, staff, alumni, external partners, corporate sponsors, and campus departments; build and maintain industry relationships and coordinate cross‑departmental collaborations. Maintain organized records, databases, mailing lists and documentation; track deadlines and deliverables across multiple projects. Coordinate and support two student accelerator programs (Private Capital Accelerator and Investment Management Accelerator). Perform related duties as assigned; duties may evolve based on Institute needs. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education. Required Experience One (1) year of program coordination experience. Additional Qualifications Considered Experience planning events and managing logistics. Experience with financial administration (budget tracking, reconciliations, purchasing). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience working in higher education or with student‑facing programs, preferably in business school or finance‑related program. Experience with systems such as UCFlex, Concur, or PACE. Knowledge of investment management industry terminology and practices. Demonstrated commitment to creating positive, high‑quality experiences for all Institute stakeholders. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $48,000–$50,000 per year.
