Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). Preferred qualifications Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Finance, and other key stakeholders. 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting). 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership. 1 year of experience in software development or engineering. Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies. Rich Communication Services (RCS) for business is a new product and is growing quickly. You will be joining a fast‑moving environment where new discoveries are frequent and require constant adaptation. In this role, you will develop product solutions for issues impacting both Google and the broader messaging ecosystem. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first‑party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,000–$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Support PRD (Product Requirements Document) execution by collaborating with cross‑functional partners including Engineering, Program Managers, and UX throughout the design and development life‑cycle. Contribute to the development of a highly engaging and secure business messaging platform. Identify high‑impact opportunities for Google and the RCS ecosystem in areas such as AI‑powered agents, conversational design, commerce, trust and safety, and personalized brand engagement. Identify the highest impact opportunities both for Google and the entire RCS ecosystem, related to AI‑powered agents, conversational design, commerce, trust and safety, personalized brand engagement, or other areas. Facilitate product launches, maintenance, and retirement in close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
