Must-Have:
Patient care experience in Peds Nephrology, including skills in urine analysis, point-of-care testing, and general assessment skills.

Description:
Travelers will work in one of the specialty areas, based on the job posting.
Pediatric Nephrology offers 15 exam rooms, with up to 25 patients per day.
The patient demographic ranges from newborns to age 18, potentially extending to college graduation.
Common patient diagnoses include constipation, reflux, G-tube care, inflammatory bowel disease, kidney disease, and pre/post-transplant liver care.
Travelers may assist with vaccine administration and injectable medications.
Required skills include urine spinning, rapid strep, flu, and COVID testing.
Experience with electronic medical records is highly preferred.
The department supports a collaborative environment with clinical leadership, clerical leadership, and multidisciplinary team members.
Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekend rotation or call responsibilities.
There are no major holiday work expectations.
Documentation and patient education responsibilities are part of the role.
Support staff includes front desk attendants, clinical supervisors, medical assistants, and lab personnel.
Orientation will be provided based on skill set and comfort level.
