Technician / TechnologistWe're looking for a hands-on Technician to support industrial automation equipment, controls, installation, startup, and troubleshooting in manufacturing environments.Location: Detroit, MIType: Contract to HireWhat You'll DoTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, and automation equipmentRead electrical schematics and wiring diagramsUse multimeters and diagnostic tools to identify equipment problemsAssist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and testingSupport PLC-controlled machinery, sensors, conveyors, panels, and other automation equipmentTravel to customer facilities for startup and service work as neededWhat We're Looking ForIndustrial maintenance, automation, controls, electrical, field service, or related manufacturing experienceStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilityExperience reading electrical prints and using diagnostic equipmentComfortable working directly on equipment in a manufacturing environmentAbility to learn new systems and work independentlyWillingness to travel and work additional hours during customer startupsHelpful, but not required: Allen Bradley, Siemens, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, industrial networking, conveyors, machine vision, automotive equipment, or control panels.A four-year degree is not required. Technical training, trade school, military training, an associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience can all be a fit.
