Job Description
The Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring various types of extrusion machines, including single-screw, twin-screw, blown film, and sheet extrusion equipment. The role involves setting up machines according to production schedules and ensuring consistent quality throughout the extrusion process. Operators work across different shifts, including day, night, rotating, and weekend shifts, and collaborate within medium to large teams to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up extrusion machines according to specifications and production schedules
- Monitor equipment performance during extrusion processes
- Operate single-screw, twin-screw, blown film, and sheet extrusion machines effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in extrusion operation
- Strong knowledge of machine operation and quality control
- Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
