Position: Cold Recipe/Prep

Upstream Brewing is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cold Recipe/Prep. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our cold recipes and assisting in the preparation of ingredients for our culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipe specifications using precise measurements.
• Follow cold recipes to ensure the consistency and quality of our menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Assist the culinary team in preparing ingredients for daily production.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure the freshness and taste of ingredients.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate department.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate recipe execution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• A passion for food and a desire to contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
