This role owns the daily execution of end-to-end multi-state payroll and benefits administration, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, employee service, and continuous process improvement.What We Offer:Competitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision coveragePaid Time Off401(k) retirement planAnnual performance bonusEmployee Merchandise DiscountsCareer advancement opportunities in a thriving, growing organizationWhat You'll Do:Payroll & Benefits AdministrationManage full-cycle, multi-state payroll processingProcess commissions, SPIFs, bonuses, pay adjustments, reimbursements, and off-cycle payrollsManage employee terminations, final pay, garnishments, and payroll documentationAdminister employee benefits, 401(k), FSA, and open enrollment processesManage ACA eligibility tracking, compliance audits, and reportingPartner with HR and Finance on payroll approvals, compensation structures, and bonus programsMonitor and implement federal, state, and local wage updatesHelp ensure compliance with wage and hour requirements, with a focus on CA, WA, and NVMaintain accurate payroll, benefits, and employee data within our HR/payroll platformsHuman Resources Support & ComplianceServe as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR policiesManage employee inquiries and requests through ZendeskMaintain payroll and benefits SOPs, processes, and documentationSupport HR compliance reporting, including EEO-1 and California Pay Data ReportingAudit HRIS records to ensure accurate employee, tax, and work location dataSupport onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changesPartner with HR and Finance to implement new policies, programs, and employee communicationsWhat You'll Need:4+ years of experience with full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing requiredStrong knowledge of California and Washington payroll and employment regulations requiredExperience with Nevada payroll requirements strongly preferred2+ years of benefits administration experience, including health, 401(k), FSA, and ACAProficiency with payroll processing systems and HR/Payroll platforms strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulasStrong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to work independently and resolve complex payroll and benefits issuesStrong organizational skills with excellent follow-through and time managementAbility to manage confidential employees and financial information with discretionComfortable working across HR, Finance, and other departments in a fast-paced environmentEqual Opportunity EmployerWork World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
