Office Manager - Road Construction

Job Description
We are hiring an Office Manager for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Monroe, LA . This position works Monday through Friday on the day shift and is ideal for a candidate with experience in a road construction contractor environment . The Office Manager will support daily administrative and financial operations, including accounting tasks, payroll, reconciliations, compliance, and process improvement while working with company procedures and heavy equipment-related costs.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and payroll activities.
Perform monthly QuickBooks account reconciliations.
Track and manage heavy equipment costs.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate on improving office processes and operations.
Requirements
Experience working in a road construction contractor setting.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks .
Experience with accounting, payroll, or administrative functions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with heavy equipment is a plus.
