Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct clinical evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs upon admission, with an emphasis on immediate treatment planning.

• Facilitate milieu therapies and psychoeducational groups, promoting awareness and understanding of coping strategies related to addiction and mental health.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that encourage discussion and engagement, allowing patients to explore their feelings and experiences in a safe environment.

• Communicate effectively with the Utilization Review and Business Departments to manage authorization and payment processes for services rendered.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning from the moment a patient is admitted, ensuring that plans are comprehensive and tailored to individual needs.
\n
• Complete discharge sessions to review coping strategies and ensure that patients understand and can utilize their transition plan and available resources.
\n
• Confirm discharge appointments with patients and their families to ensure a seamless transition post-treatment.
\n
• Provide additional clinical support to team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team success.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. This population often presents with complex co-occurring mental health issues, requiring culturally competent approaches and tailored interventions to facilitate their recovery journey. Your expertise will not only aid in managing their detox process but also equip them with skills to cope with post-treatment challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Proven ability to set and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.

• Proficient in documenting services and submitting reports punctually, meeting all regulatory and organizational standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
