M, W, and F is ideal, but can be flexible as long as the days worked are within M-F.Acts as a lead in support of staff scheduling, timekeeping, reporting, and other payroll-related functions in support of operations. Functions as a backup for the manager and payroll/staffing for all transactions and job postings. Also, provides administrative support to Nursing Administration and other areas.Does this position require Patient Care?NoEssential FunctionsEnsures daily master schedules are provided for the manager, nursing/payroll, and collaborates with some of the staff availability to work.Ensures optimum staffing efficiency of each unit by assigning Resource Team staff to fill vacancies and approved time off, as well as last-minute sick calls, emergencies, and varying acuity levels.Lead timekeeper responsibility, ensuring that information is entered correctly and in a timely fashion.Prepares changes in systems and performs regular audits of data.In the absence of a manager, prepares changes for promotions/demotions/transfers, posts vacant positions for all inpatient units, and leads the team.Lead data quality audits, prepare reports, and present information to leadership.Provide orientation and training of new payroll staff.QualificationsEducation Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
