An opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist specializing in hospital inpatient pharmacy services. This contract role requires expertise in managing medication dispensing and ensuring optimal patient care within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense inpatient medications in compliance with hospital protocols and legal requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and ensure patient safety
• Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness and potential interactions
• Maintain comprehensive records of medication inventory and ensure proper storage conditions
• Provide patient counseling and education as needed regarding prescribed medications
• Adhere to hospital policies, federal and state regulations governing pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active state licensure for hospital pharmacy practice
• Proven experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy operations

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle high-volume medication dispensing
