We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Full Time Charge Nurse 7am-3pm to join our team at Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, located in Richland Hills, Texas. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, while also leading and mentoring our dedicated team of nursing professionals. About the Role As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the daily nursing care of our patients, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, conducting patient assessments, and ordering medications and treatments. You will work closely with our rehabilitation team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to our nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and excellence. Responsibilities Provide effective leadership and direction to the nursing staff during the 7am-3pm shift. Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Conduct patient assessments, order medications and treatments, and administer medications as ordered. Work closely with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement rehabilitation plans. Monitor and maintain accurate medical records. Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other company-wide initiatives.
