Prepare, process, and analyze specimens; conduct Gram stains and other microbiology techniques as part of routine panels. Operate and maintain instrumentation (Siemens Aptio Line, Siemens Atellica, Sysmex XN9000, Sysmex UN3000 or Iris) and perform routine QC/maintenance as assigned. Manage Blood Bank procedures and documentation, including compatibility testing and serious QC incidents, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Enter and verify data in EMR systems (Epic and Sunquest Blood Bank) with attention to specimen labeling, results, and quality control documentation. Collaborate with the laboratory team and other clinical staff; adhere to the rotating schedule and ensure coverage without floating outside the Lab. Requirements Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience (Medical Lab Technician/Technologist) required. MT license required. ASCP or AMT credentialed (CLS or MLT) required. Experience with Epic and Sunquest Blood Bank EMR. Proficiency with Siemens Aptio Line, Siemens Atellica, Sysmex XN9000, Sysmex UN3000 or Iris; Gel testing for Blood Bank and Micro setups. Ability to work in a hospital laboratory setting with a rotating shift pattern and to perform Blood Bank, Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Gram Stain duties as part of the assignment. No floating outside the Lab; strong adherence to safety, quality control, and regulatory standards.
