Event Sales Manager

The Alston is seeking a highly organized and hospitality-driven   Private Events Sales Coordinator to support the planning and execution of exceptional private events. This role plays a key part in the event sales process—supporting inquiries, coordinating logistics, and ensuring each client receives a seamless and personalized experience from initial contact through event completion.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. 

Key Responsibilities

Event Sales & Client Experience

• Promptly respond to event inquiries and assist in qualifying new leads

• Gather key event details and support the sales process from inquiry to booking

• Assist in preparing   custom event proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to each client’s needs

Event Coordination & Planning

• Support the planning and coordination of private events and dining experiences

• Assist in creating   event timelines, BEOs, floor plans, and planning documents

• Coordinate event details with internal teams, including culinary, beverage, and operations

Administrative & Sales Support

• Maintain event records, client communications, and sales documentation

• Track inquiries, bookings, and event details in the event management system

• Assist with event packets, marketing collateral, and event menu updates

• Support on-site event execution as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in   event planning, hospitality, sales coordination, or venue operations

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences

Preferred:

• Experience working in   restaurants, hotels, private clubs, or event venues

• Familiarity with event management or CRM systems

Compensation: $50,000 plus commission
