Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.In 2024, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR 6,515 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Job Description**Applicants MUST be able to work in the U.S. indefinitelywithout restriction or sponsorship **Job Summary: Eurofins NextGen Sequencing Department is seeking a Senior Scientist to perform method development and validation activities of next generation sequencing methods related to biopharma product safety.Perform NGS method development, validation, and qualification using a variety of instrumentation and techniques.Apply GMP in all areas of responsibilityGenerate sequencing libraries for DNA and RNAPerform viral extractionsMentor and train junior scientistsOther job duties as neededQualificationsMinimum QualificationsAdvanced degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry (BS and 5+ years of experience, MS and 3+ years of experience, or PhD and 1+ years of experience)Industry experience with Next Gen Sequencing in a cGMP laboratory, including sound technical knowledge on the operation of sequencers and troubleshooting.Expert knowledge in plasmid, viral vectors, and contaminating virusesExperience with NGS or molecular biology method development, qualification, and validation for GMP operationsAbility to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsExperience with client-based work in a CRO or CDMOKnowledge of bioinformaticsExperience writing GMP methods, reports, and SOPsKnowledge of DOE (Design of Experiment)Additional InformationWorking schedule will be Full-Time Mon-Fri, First Shift 8am-4pm.
