Serves as a management and program assistant in technical operations.

E-band: provides administrative support to supervisors, managers, and other employees in managing the office's administrative functions, which may include several of the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, contract administration, property management, procurements, and overall office management.

Performs basic and routine tasks in support of a professional, technical, or specialized occupation under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced employee. Provides support to supervisors, managers, and other employees in managing the office's administrative functions, which may include several of the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, contract administration, property management, procurements, and overall office management.

F-band: incumbent performs the same at e band, to include a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments in support of a professional, technical, or specialized occupation under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced employee. Assists managers and other employees in day-to-day operations and may act as a lead for other support staff to coordinate multiple assignments. Provides guidance to lower-level support staff members for handling routine problems and issues.

to qualify for this position at the fv-e level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to fv-d, fg/gs-3-6 level. examples of specialized experience include experience in the performance basic and routine tasks in support of administrative program; utilizing automated systems to maintain data; and supporting the office in scheduling meetings; typing correspondence; providing standard information on administrative policies, personal property and travel administration.

to qualify for this position at the fv-f level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to fv-e, fg/gs-7/8 level. examples of specialized experience include: planning and managing the office's daily administrative functions; maintaining automated systems to record, reconcile, validate, and track data; identifying and resolving discrepancies; performing various analytical studies; interpreting and providing guidance; and performing multiple and varying assignments in the areas of financial support, personnel matters, personal property, and travel administration.
