Role Description The Staffing Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Wood Dale, IL. This role oversees day-to-day staffing needs for catering and special events, including scheduling, assigning staff to events, and ensuring appropriate coverage for all functions. The individual will coordinate with culinary and event management teams to forecast staffing requirements, manage onboarding and training schedules, and maintain up-to-date staff records. Responsibilities include monitoring labor budgets, optimizing staffing efficiency, and supporting compliance with company policies and safety standards. The role also involves resolving staffing issues, providing guidance to supervisory staff, and contributing to continuous improvement of staffing processes and systems.

Qualifications
- Experience in staffing operations, workforce planning, or scheduling within hospitality, catering, events, or a related service environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, priorities, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with scheduling and HR systems or software, and solid skills in spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across culinary, operations, and event teams and interact with staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience, including coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work on-site in Wood Dale, IL, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in staffing or operations management.
