About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer (CSO) to lead the execution of its bold new strategic plan, which is designed to elevate the organization's impact and position it as a leader in youth development. The CSO will be responsible for overseeing philanthropy, marketing, and communications, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term vision and sustainability of the organization. This includes integrating external relations, fundraising, and strategic initiatives into a cohesive whole, and ensuring that the organization's activities are aligned with its mission to empower youth and build a diverse, inclusive community. The ideal candidate for the CSO position at the company will be a seasoned executive with a proven track record in philanthropy and a deep understanding of the full enterprise. They should be a big-picture strategist, capable of translating the strategic plan into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes. The role requires a leader who is a campaign and pipeline builder, with the ability to grow the donor pool and cultivate relationships that extend beyond fundraising. The CSO will also be responsible for elevating the organization's brand, leading marketing and communications efforts, and ensuring that the impact of the organization is rigorously measured and communicated.
