Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Licensure appropriate for school-based social work in Illinois
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or clinical setting is preferred

• Ability to effectively manage multiple caseloads and prioritize tasks
• Collaborative mindset and flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students
• Participate in developing and implementing intervention strategies and individualized education plans
• Serve as a liaison between students, families, staff, and community agencies
• Offer crisis intervention and support in urgent situations
• Develop classroom presentations and programs to promote healthy social and emotional development
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations
