Surgical Technician

plaintext JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment at West Valley Medical Center. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures. Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by handing instruments, supplies, and equipment. Operate specialized surgical equipment. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Schedule / Shift Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Scheduling Requirements: 4 10-hour shifts or 3 12-hour shifts per week. On Call / Floating On Call: Rotating weekends. Floating: May float between Main OR, 2nd floor OR (eyes), and/or endo. Required Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience with orthopedic, spine, urology, general, and gynecological surgical procedures. Advanced skills with DaVinci robot, MAKO robot, Globus robot, and Medtronic Stealth systems. Experience Demonstrated experience in surgical technology. Skills Proficient in surgical preparation, instrument handling, and sterile technique. Competency in assisting with a variety of surgical specialties. Ability to work collaboratively within a surgical team. Familiarity with robotic surgical systems.
