Human Resources Generalist

Serve as the on-site HR representative supporting all levels of employees (operators to senior leadership) Handle employee relations matters, coaching, and conflict resolution Maintain strong floor presence—regularly engage with employees on the production floor Provide guidance to department leaders on HR-related matters Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions (operations, QA, engineering, etc.) Source candidates through various channels (job boards, networking, universities, job fairs) Coordinate and attend local recruiting events and campus outreach initiativesManage multiple open roles in a high-growth environment HR Operations & Administration Execute transactional HR activities (onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, etc.) Partner with payroll and HRIS systems (ADP, SAP SuccessFactors preferred) Support benefits-related inquiries and assist during open enrollment (in partnership with corporate benefits team) Act as the primary HR contact when HR Manager is unavailable Collaborate with leadership across departments Assist with HR projects and gradually take on strategic responsibilities Work Environment & Expectations Fully on-site role (5 days/week) due to manufacturing environment Regular interaction on the production floor (PPE/gowning required) Standard hours ~9 AM – 5 PM Occasional early/late or weekend shifts to support 24/7 operations Occasional travel to sister facility (Pennsauken, NJ) — rare (~quarterly or less) Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field HR experience within pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical device industry Strong knowledge of: Employee relations Recruiting and sourcing General HR practices in a regulated environment Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Preferred HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR) Experience with: ADP (payroll) SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Desired Candidate Profile: Must-Haves Manufacturing industry background. Experience leading initiatives and driving change. Ability to build processes and improve organizational capability. Strong project leadership skills. Nice-to-Haves Experience implementing LMS platforms. Experience building L&D programs from the ground up. Knowledge of external training vendors and training resources.
