WM Supercenter #1525 7430 Bell Creek Rd Mechanicsville, VA 23111-3550 Exterior Services Technician - DOT Operator As an Exterior Services Technician – DOT Operator, you will oversee landscape projects on the Walmart Supercenter grounds. Your responsibilities include mowing, trimming, pruning, and maintaining parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to keep the environment safe, clean, and inviting for all customers and employees. Minimum Qualifications 21 years of age or older Valid state‑issued driver's license Driver’s license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification (minimum 90‑day card) No DUI/DWI convictions or reckless driving incidents involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 years Key Responsibilities Conduct grounds maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate specialized equipment and vehicles to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Collaborate with associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance. Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines. Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades. Benefits and Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $35.00 (actual rate meets or exceeds the applicable minimum wage). Additional premiums may be awarded up to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Full-time status with eligibility for performance‑based bonuses.
