As a Security Officer Full Time East FWY in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a secure flow of people and vehicles. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicle, driver, and visitor traffic in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to the facility and restricted areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
