Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6-Month Contract
A leading organization is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project managers and cross-functional teams in organizing and executing project activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects stay on track by managing documentation, coordinating meetings, tracking progress, and proactively identifying risks and issues.
Key Responsibilities- Support project managers by maintaining and updating project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Prepare and distribute project status reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Coordinate daily project activities to ensure timely progress and completion
- Lead or facilitate project meetings; document and share meeting minutes, decisions, and action items
- Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Track project risks and issues, and assist in mitigation planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communication
- Experience supporting or coordinating projects, preferably in complex or multi-department environments
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to lead meetings and present information to stakeholders confidently
- Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, operations, or a related field
