Industry Renewables & Environment Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Development with a focus on RNG origination. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of business development and project origination professionals, as well as identifying, evaluating, and originating new RNG opportunities. This role involves structuring, negotiating, and executing various commercial agreements, and requires the ability to maintain and develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including feedstock providers, utilities, developers, and investors. The VP will also be expected to drive the commercial strategy, support project development, and stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify new growth opportunities. Qualifications Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a proven track record in originating and developing RNG or biogas projects within the United States. Experience in leading and managing business development teams is essential, as is a strong network across industry stakeholders. A deep understanding of environmental credit programs and demonstrated success in negotiating complex commercial agreements are also key qualifications. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, and a Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of presenting market intelligence and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
