Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid (or eligibility for) California SLP licensure
• Previous experience providing therapy in school settings strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage documentation requirements efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to student needs
• Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust interventions as necessary
• Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress
• Educate staff and families about speech and language development, offering strategies for support
