Post Anesthesia Care Unit - Registered Nurse

Job Title: PACU Location: Bangor, Maine Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $59 - $63/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PACU for a temporary assignment in Bangor, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PACU:

• Perform patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing policies and procedures • Work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse during assigned shifts • Maintain current Maine RN license or compact license • Hold an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Maintain current BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire • Maintain current ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire • Maintain current PALS certification or obtain within 1 year of hire • Apply 1-3 years of nursing experience in patient care delivery • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills • Utilize strong communication skills in all patient care and team interactions • Demonstrate ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
