Registered Nurse PACU

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: The PACU Registered Nurse provides specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. They work closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and smooth recovery. Responsibilities: Administer post-anesthesia patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications and intervene promptly in case of adverse reactions or complications. Document patient progress, treatments, and interventions accurately. Supervise and support the clinical team during shift transitions. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery processes. Qualifications: Hold a current Maine RN license or compact license. Possess BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications current within required timeframe. Have 1-3 years of PACU or related surgical recovery experience preferred. Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Be a team player committed to patient safety and quality care.
