Used Car Buyer - BMW of Denver Downtown

SHL Package: Sonic Customer Service and Admin Dealership: 445 - BMW of Denver Compensation: USD 80,000 - USD 150,000 - yearly Job Description The Used Car Buyer will have a primary responsibility of executing a process which involves prospecting, appraising, and presenting offers to current vehicle owners with the goal of purchasing their vehicles from multiple sources for resale. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for calling, following up and scheduling appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles. Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation. Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle. Approach, greet, and engage with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles. Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures of the vehicles, and inputting vehicle data into Sonic's automated inventory management system. Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller. Introduce guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle. Review monthly goals with management on vehicles purchased to better utilize time and plans more effectively. Qualifications Preferred At least 2+ years working in a Used Car department in a dealership or Used Buyer experience within a dealership. Demonstrated success in telemarketing, appointment setting, or sales roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong ability to engage with customers effectively, build rapport, and address their needs and concerns professionally. Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone. Ability to handle rejection positively and persistently pursue leads, maintaining a positive attitude throughout. Comfortable using CRM software, productivity tools, and other technology platforms to manage leads and track progress. BMW or (German) brand experience a plus. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette. Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards. Required All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. Valid driver's license and good driving record. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
