Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite and involves traveling to patients' residences within Brentwood and surrounding areas. You will engage directly with patients in their homes, which provides a unique opportunity to assess their environment and tailor interventions accordingly. Our therapists work independently while having access to a robust support system within our facility, including administrative support and a network of healthcare professionals collaborating on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to identify strengths, limitations, and specific patient needs, ensuring all assessments are detailed and comprehensive.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based practices to enhance functional outcomes.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, employing a variety of orthopedic techniques and modalities, ensuring that care is both effective and empathetic.
• Regularly monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on real-time feedback and observed outcomes.
• Provide education on wellness strategies, injury prevention, and effective home exercise programs to empower patients and families.
• Foster collaborative relationships with referring providers, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and other healthcare professionals to create cohesive and comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment encounters in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients are primarily individuals dealing with orthopedic issues, including recovery from surgery, chronic pain management, and mobility challenges. You will work with a diverse client population, ranging from active adults recovering from sports injuries to seniors managing age-related mobility concerns. Tailoring your approaches to accommodate different physical capabilities and emotional support needs is crucial for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California Physical Therapist License.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) is preferred.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for engaging with patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• A strong foundation in clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and relationship-building is necessary to create a motivating patient experience.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates with a strong clinical understanding and a passion for patient care. Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
