Temporary Employee - Lab Technician The Fish Facility for the Cell and Developmental Biology department is actively seeking a temporary lab technician to assist with the daily operations of the facility. Some of these responsibilities include: Feeding baby fish, juveniles, and adult fish daily up to 3 times per day. Maintaining paramecia cultures for feeding baby fish Recording and tracking water temperatures, conductivity, pH, and nitrites/nitrates daily. Adjusting water drip rates and water outlet sieves as fish progress in development. Maintain biological and particle filtration systems. Siphon, organize, and clean tanks as needed. Maintain supplies and media containers. Other tasks assigned by PI and Fish Facility manager Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $7.25 - $18.00 Hourly Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
