Manufacturing Team Lead, Liso-cel CAR-T, Manufacturing Operations

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Manufacturing Team Lead for Liso-cel CAR-T production in a cGMP cleanroom environment. The role oversees blood component manufacturing operations, manages shift production activities, and leads quality investigations on a night shift schedule (Wednesday–Saturday, 5 p.m.–5:30 a.m.).
Responsibilities
- Oversee equipment setup and operation for cell culture, harvest, and cryopreservation production
- Lead deviation investigations, corrective action plan closures, and regulatory documentation
- Perform aseptic technique activities including tube welding, connections, and transfers
- Record production data, track materials, and maintain compliance with GMP and safety policies
- Train and supervise designated manufacturing associates; lead continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Senior Associate status in Cell Therapy Manufacturing (prerequisite)
- Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years cell therapy or biopharmaceutical operations experience
- Associate/Medical Technical degree with 6+ years manufacturing operations experience
- High school diploma/GED with 8+ years manufacturing or operations experience
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and aseptic processing techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical writing
- Background in biology, chemistry, medical, or clinical practices
