Custodial Laborer

Custodial LaborerUnder supervision, performs unskilled manual and operational tasks for College Residences/Dining Halls facilities, meeting rooms, study rooms, laundry facilities, offices, lounge areas, hallways, stairs, property signage, trash/recycle chutes and rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, suites, and landings, interior/exterior common areas, and HDH grounds and walkways. Will assist Building Maintenance Workers as needed. Safely operates and drives trucks with lifts, box trucks, and various other university vehicles. Responsible for safeguarding assigned area's keys and care/operation of custodial supplies and equipment. Will respond to routine and emergency work requests from supervisor, staff, maintenance, Customer Service Center, and police department as needed. Will provide customer service to student residents and guests as needed. Work location is Dining Halls/student residence. Positive interaction with staff, residents, and guests is required.Annual Full Pay Range: $43,952 - $56,856 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)Hourly Equivalent: $21.05 - $27.23Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
