Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, Cancer Survivorship

Fred Hutch's Cancer Survivorship Program is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to grow its research portfolio and advance adult cancer survivorship. The overall mission of the program is to enhance care of survivors through rigorous research, outstanding clinical care, and education/outreach. Candidates with a PhD, MD/DO, or equivalent—especially those with training in medical oncology, psychology, or biobehavioral sciences—are encouraged to apply. The position primarily follows a faculty/physician‑scientist pathway, though candidates desiring a 20–30 % clinical practice may be integrated into Fred Hutch’s survivorship, oncology, or supportive‑care clinics. Responsibilities Develop and lead an independent research program focused on adult cancer survivorship (ages young adults to geriatrics), including lifestyle interventions, biobehavioral research, health services, dissemination, and implementation science. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment that provides access to shared research resources. Maintain a record of peer‑reviewed publications, grants, and/or clinical trial experience in survivorship research. Engage in teaching, mentoring, and training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Qualifications PhD, MD/DO, or foreign equivalent. Demonstrated primary interest and record in adult cancer survivorship research. Training or experience in medical oncology, psychology, biobehavioral sciences, or related fields. For clinicians: board certification in a relevant discipline (or licensed clinical PhD) and a Washington state medical license. Ability to obtain a University of Washington appointment and preliminary clinical accreditation, if clinical practice is desired. Benefits and Salary Annual base salary ranges per rank and career track (researcher vs. physician‑scientist) are provided. Faculty may receive relocation assistance or a sign‑on bonus.
