Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional – Longview, TX Position overview: The Cardiology (CARD) Health & Science Professional (HSP) will increase territory sales and develop relationships with assigned customers by engaging in product promotion and determining effective business strategies. The role requires strong customer and business acumen, product and disease state knowledge, strategic and administrative skills, and the ability to work remotely with cross‑functional teams. Role Responsibilities Drive sales in the assigned territory. Engage with customers face‑to‑face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, including live/virtual engagement strategies. Build rapport and relationships with customers, utilizing digital tools for ongoing engagement. Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and develop strategic business opportunities. Use product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions, applying approved clinical information and patient resources. Collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, marketing, customer service, accounting, or full‑time military experience; Or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience. Must live within 25 miles of the territory border. Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record; any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years is grounds for disqualification. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical‑related marketing experience. Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management, outstanding communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic areas, and products. Knowledge of the posted territory customers and markets, including prescribers, HCPs, institutions, and organizations. Resides within the territory boundaries. Other Job Details Territory includes: Longview, Lufkin & Nacogdoches. Annual base salary: $76,000 – $199,600. During initial new‑hire sales training the employee is classified as a salary non‑exempt employee entitled to overtime pay; upon certification becomes an overtime exempt employee. Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, retirement savings contribution, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision).
