Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Leadership experience preferred. - Charge nurse experience preferred.

Unit Details: - A4W trauma telemetry unit. - Prepares patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR. - Current ratios: Day RN 1:5/6; Night RN 1:6/7. - Uses medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150s in every patient room, workstations on wheels, and Tap and Go for computer/documentation access.

Shift & Scheduling: - Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; for night shift, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts.

Floating Requirements: - May float to Med-Surg sister units 3W, 5W, and K8.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
