Job Summary As a Collision Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in our commitment to excellence by assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring a seamless repair process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the collision repair process, outstanding customer service skills, and a desire to make a positive impact on our clients' lives. Responsibilities Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs. Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using CCC software; familiarity with Mitchell is a plus to use from some insurance carriers. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance companies, and team members through effective communication regarding repair estimates, timelines, and additional information. Coordinate with the repair team to order and receive required parts in a timely manner. Keep customers informed on the status of their repairs, addressing any questions or concerns with empathy and professionalism. Maintain thorough and accurate estimates, repairs, and customer interactions. Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date on industry best practices, tools, and technologies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a Collision Estimator. In-depth knowledge of collision repair processes, parts, and materials. Proficiency in CCC software; familiarity with Mitchell is a plus. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
