Construction Coordinator

Role Description This contract Construction Coordinator role is a hybrid position based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The Construction Coordinator will support day-to-day project activities, including coordinating schedules, tracking progress, and assisting with project documentation and reporting. Responsibilities include helping manage budgets, monitoring costs, and supporting project controls to ensure work stays on scope and on schedule. The role will also support construction safety practices by coordinating safety documentation, assisting with compliance checks, and helping communicate safety expectations to site personnel. The Construction Coordinator will collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and promote efficient, high-quality project delivery. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and experience coordinating activities among contractors, vendors, and project teams. Candidates should possess skills in Budgeting and Project Control to support cost tracking, forecasting, and schedule management. Candidates should possess knowledge of Construction and Construction Safety to support site activities, ensure adherence to plans, and promote safe work practices. Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency with project management and construction-related software (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling tools); experience with design/drafting or plan review is an asset. Experience in residential or light commercial construction coordination or project support is preferred. Relevant education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
