Fulmer/Perma-Cast is a manufacturer company and distributor of electric motor brush holders and job shop of machined parts located at Westmoreland Industrial Park III in Export, Pennsylvania. How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Fulmer Company team, you will be responsible for producing high quality components for a variety of industries including transportation, power generation, industrial, and marine. Our end users rely on us to provide solutions to their challenges.

Summary:

At Fulmer/Perma-Cast; our focus is on building high-quality Transportation & Power Generation Brush Holders, Permanent Mold Castings, Specialty CNC Machining and Manufacturing at competitive prices and extending personalized service to Fulmer/(Wabtec's) customers. We are ISO certified and the Quality team ensures compliance with Fulmer's (Wabtec) quality standards and is instrumental in furnishing our customers with a quality and reliable product. The Inspector Role will report directly to Quality Manager. This position is a Monday through Friday, on site position requiring occasional overtime.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
• Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
• Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Requires a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

What will your typical day look like?

• Assembles components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications to build, assemble, and test parts and finished goods that meet quality standards in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Accurately completes assembly checklists.
• Monitors stock bins in work area and reports stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).
• Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
• Adheres to the Wabtec Code of Conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

• Employee is regularly required to:
  • Read, write, and communicate in English.

• The employee will normally work on the production shop floor that does not have controlled temperatures and will vary based on weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.

Additional Information

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $18.00-20.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com.
